Ok, not really, but it sure feels like it.
I know that we all have kids who do things on their time, but I swear Ellie lives on Ellie time. Even her teachers talk about Ellie time. It’s always been incredibly frustrating to her dad and I. We are always asking her to quit doddling and get a move on. She known as Ellie the Doddler in our house.
There is no way I can thank Sarah enough for writing this amazing children’s book. I know have a new appreciation for my daughter and the way her mind works.
This eye opening book starts with Mom yelling “Bathtime”. But on the way to the bathtub Livi get’s herself into all kinds of adventures, much to her mother’s dismay.
This book not only made my Livi (Ellie) giggle, but it actually made me a tear up. It gave me a whole new appreciation of my Ellie the Doddler. Instead of getting frustrated with her, I find myself asking her what going on in her world. It’s brought a few more smiles to our routines rather than me always yelling “let’s go Ellie!”
