Teacher Appreciation Week starts May 7th!!!

I can not express how much I appreciate Ellie’s teachers!  With out them my daughter would not be the smart little girl she is today. They teach her things I wouldn’t even know where to begin to teach her.  I also appreciate them because let’s be honest, how many of us could handle 20 4 and 5 years for 6 hours?  To me they are miracle workers.

So how do you show your teacher how much you appreciate them? What ever it is I’m sure you wish you could do more.  So here’s where I’m going to help you out.  Well, at least try and help.

VolunteerSpot is launching a #DoGood Sweepstakes – WIN $500 for your favorite school or charity and Starbucks gift cards for you!  VolunteerSpot (via their Facebook page) will be giving away a Starbucks gift card each day, April 9-29 and one school or charity will win a $500 cash prize on April 30th!

BONUS, if more than 50 people from the same organization enter and tell us about it, we’ll pay out $750!  So basically, send out this post to everyone in your class to help get the word out. The cash prize can be used for to sponsor a volunteer or teacher appreciation event, purchase needed supplies, or to fund a needed program. Go Enter and #DoGood!

I’d love to hear how many of you entered, so leave me a quick comment below!

About Theresa

I always hate the about me section. I’m so many different things, I’m never sure how to narrow it down into a paragraph or 2. I love taking pictures, dancing in my living room, talking, I really love talking, and Traveling. I’m an Ex NFL Cheerleader, a “first wife” and now a first time mommy with a beautiful little girl. My life is far from boring and though there are times I long for boring, in the end I’d have it no other way!

  1. I always have a heart for teachers! Who would ever imagine that I would marry my own teacher from College? It’s like a dream come true for me. Teachers are so hard-working and respectable people!
