Summer is here and it’s finally time for my favorite activity VACATION TIME! So when Surf & Sand Resort invited me up for the day, I jumped! I was dying to see the renovation, sample the new spa treatments, and dine on some of the yummiest food I’ve ever had.
Let’s start with just pulling up to the valet. To the right of the valet is this amazing patio with super comfy chairs and couches. I could have stayed there all day staring out to the ocean and would have been quite content.
No it didn’t stop there! We were escorted over to the newly redone Aquaterra Spa. Intimate, tranquil, and unintimidating, Aquaterra is the perfect way to escape for a little alone time. I indulged in the Aquaterra Signature massage and facial and never wanted to get up and leave. As a matter of fact, I believe the masseuse may have had to carry me out of the room.
After we were done comparing our soft skin we were treated to a tour of the new rooms. I need to mention that they have had noise complaints at this hotel. I mean who wouldn’t want to complain? Seriously, those ocean waves can be quite loud. Don’t worry Surf and Sand have made sure you will be provided with complimentary ear plugs.
The rooms are all beautiful redone. We even asked if we could buy a few of the decorations in the rooms!
Did you catch that’s pool. Even though Surf and Sand is right on the beach a few of us still prefer the pool. That is where you can find me sipping on Mojitos.

Splash’s sit right above the wave and services the perfect summer menu. Light and fresh it was perfect for a warm summer day. The view and tasty drinks don’t hurt either!
