Right before the start of each season I get motivated to shop. Wait, who am I kidding, I’ll shop anytime, anywhere, bring it on!

Fall is coming and I’m super excited about a number of the fall fashion trends. With the exception of all the damn floral.
I love denim and this year the denim God’s were good to me! There are so many great Jeans out there right now. It seems like every cut is “in” right now. My favorite cut, AG’s Tomboy.
Comfy, but not sloppy. Casual, but chic. Modern, but classic.
I’ll wear them rolled up with flats, a cute T tucked in and a great belt. I’ll also wear them with a tight sweater, unrolled, with a pair of high healed boots! Maybe the my new Cole Haans.
Here’s the best part! I bought them today at Anthropologie on sale!
There’s a number of Military inspired items out right now too. A few weeks ago, I picked up this sweater from Free People.
I love this sweater! Living in San Diego we never really have an opportunity to wear heavy coats. This sweater has the heavy coat tailored look, but is perfect for the San Diego fall and winter.
My next favorite thing isn’t fall inspired. It’s all the time inspired. I have bought so many pairs of Spanx’s I could open my own Spanx store! That is if there was actually a market for already worn Spanx. EW! You get the point, I could feed a small village with what I’ve spent on Spanx’s.
Well the amazing woman behind Spanx has now brought us Assets! Assets is a lower price point body shaper. Where have you been my whole life? 
I’ll wear these with… EVERYTHING! Oh, and you must check out Mama Mary Assets here.

This shimmering, glimmering body balm adds a seductive golden-pink sheen to legs. It really does! My legs do not look like they did when I was 27, but balm sure does help the situation! Anytime you see my legs, I’ll probably have this smeared all over them! You can get them at Benefits Cosmetics.
Ok, so here my disclosure. While at blogher, I was given a pair of Assets. Everything in this post I have spent my husbands hard earned money on!

I LOVE anything Benefits. Not only for their fricking hilarious titles but also for the quality of the product. I need me some of that “seductive golden-pink sheen” on my white pastiness!!!
Love denim always! Love the sweater too! I can’t do spanx tho, I am heavier so when I put those things on, They tuck me in but everything above and below them just balloon out even bigger LOL
The fact that the model the people of Spanx chose to promote their product weighs less than my four year old gave me quite a chuckle. I am surprised those Spanks are staying up. Maybe they super-glued them.
