I am so excited to tell you about the updated Westfield App 2.0. I first learned about the Westfield App when I was back to school shopping for Ellie last month. It was perfect because I had never been to Parkway Mall and the map on the app saved me about an hour! I’ve also used the app at the UTC Mall while it’s under renovation. Not only have I learned where the stores have been moved to, but I also learned what new stores are coming! So exciting!! Can’t wait to share that with you guys!
Last week I dropped Ellie off at school and packed Zach up and headed down to Mission Valley Mall. I should have left Zach at home, because it was the first and only time I couldn’t get him to stop crying while I was meeting with the Centers Manager. Embarrassing! That is a story for another time.
I hadn’t been to Mission Valley Mall in years so this was the perfect spot for me try out the new Updated Westfield App.
So when I pulled up the first thing I did was use GPS feature and take a picture of my parking spot. How many times have you forgotten where you’ve parked. None? Just me? Ok, so I do it all the time. I’d like to blame Mommy Brain, but it happened before kids too.
With the Westfield App you can save the GPS location, take a photo, record a memo or just simply type in a note. No more losing my car.
If you’re a regular reader of Rock On Mommies then you know that I’m going through a redesign of rooms in my house. This day I was looking for new bedding for the master bedroom. Mission Valley was perfect because it has a ton of home good stores.
Like most malls Mission Valley does not have all their home stores in one location, so the map is a great. The updated app is even better! It will map out your route for you.
If it’s possible to get lost in a mall, leave it to me. This feature is incredibly helpful!
How about learning where all the deals are. Yep, there’s a feature that does that.
I’m horrible about clipping coupons and remembering where the sales are. This is perfect for me. I simply pick a mall and click the offers icon and Bam!
Are you like me and haven’t upgrade to the 4S iPhone yet? Don’t worry! This app has that covered for you.
Simple tap and ask a question. Where is Nordstroms? What time does the movie start? This is great because when I’m pushing a stroller it’s easier to talk than type.
Want to know what time a Movie starts? There’s a feature for that.
Table at a restaurant? There’s a feature for that. The Westfield App 2.0 is basically a walking information desk.
This is honestly one of the most thought out apps I’ve ever used. I use at least one of the features every time I’m at the mall. My one piece of advice would be to have the Mall you’re going to visit uploaded before you leave the house.

I used the app last week and it was awesome! My favorite feature are the deals displayed because I am SO not the type to remember or even LOOK for coupons. Love it!
