There is so much information to get in here, so bare with me!
Family Fun Day:
There are two “family fun days” this year, yesterday and also over Labor Day Weekend. But every Sunday is “family day” in the infield with things for kids to do.

Del Mar Concert Series:
If you have kids ages 5-12, there is also “Camp Del Mar”. Open everyday during the season, this is a safe, fun place to bring your kids for the day while parents have some adult-time at the races. For the line up go here.
Summer Concert Series:
4:00 Fridays and Saturday concerts series line up includes names like B-52′s and Weezer! For the rest of the line up go here.
Quick Betting Lingo:
Here are a few simple to understand bets.
Win, Place or Show – Your pick can come in either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
Exacta or Perfecta – A wager in which the first two finishers in a race, in exact order of finish, must be picked.
Quinella – you must pick the horses that finish first and second. Either one can be first and the other one second.
Trifecta - Same as the exacta wheel where one horse is keyed in one of the positions (first, second or third) and all other horses are placed in the other two positions.
