This past weekend we took a quick day trip to Los Angeles to spend the day in Griffith Park Hunting Fairies, with the Faery Trail Theater. A Faery Hunt is an interactive show filled with uplifting life messages including kindness, forgiveness, respect, ecological responsibility and tolerance, in this entertaining and fun show for the whole family. They were also are the WINNER of the 2009 Nickelodeon’s Parents’ Picks Award for Best LA Children’s Theater.
After paying our $10 (per person) admission fee, we along with a couple dozen of other little girls dressed in their best fairy costumes followed our leader through Fern Dell searching for those mysterious Fairies.
Dressed in her favorite tutu and tinker wings Lil L was ready for a hunt! Over the bridge and through the woods until we finally spotted a fairy!
The fairies slowing started coming out of the woods and all of the little girls were so excited!
I mean all of the little girls!
Did I mention the Trolls?
Out in the fresh air, walking through the park and living, if just for an hour, in a fairy tail was such a sweet way to spend our Saturday afternoon. If you’re in the LA area and haven’t had a chance to go on a Faery Hunt it’s a must!

I do have one quick Question, is it Fairy or Faery? I have to admit, I was a little confused.
Here’s a quick clip of Lil L enjoy her day…

That is too precious. I may be disowned if I brought Dylan to a fairy hunt. But man, oh man, do I wanna go. That is so clever.
How creative. My daughter would love this!
